While Nova Scotia hiking along our Liscomb River trail, you will come across the fish ladder. This was constructed around the falls of the river to help restock Atlantic salmon and is formed by 15 pools separated by concrete weirs. The salmon runs in the Liscomb River begin the first two weeks in June and end in late October. The peak is in July before the water gets too warm.
