It was a sea of red and white in Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia as people gathered for the annual Canada Day parade!
This season, the Liscombe Lodge resort and Conference Centre is celebrating its 55th Anniversary! Our float theme reflected this as a Toast to 55! Our General Manager, Karen Wenaus, rode the float in a kayak – don’t worry she had her life jacket on! We took care to decorate the float with photos of the Lodge throughout the its five and a half decades while paying tribute to Canada with balloons and flags. Liscombe’s baking staff worked hard to create cupcakes to be passed out along the parade float.
I had a great team to help put it all together: Wesley took the helm by driving, while Jay, Christian, Randi and I walked along side of the float. It was a great time had by all of the Liscombe staff in attendance!
