Every Thursday and Friday, beginning in June, our neigbours in Sherbrooke Village have live entertainment! The Courthuse Concert series is a huge hit with locals and it features someone different, every week.
All concerts start at 7:00 pm, tickets $10 at the door.

Courthouse Concert – “Rally That Gives” Kick Off Concert featuring Dan MacKinnon. A fundraising concert in support of the Cancer Society’s “Lodge That Gives”,” Cathy’s Place” and “Holy Redeemer Convent” where Nova Scotia Cancer patients receive lodging and/or support. Taking place August 17 - 18, there are indoor and outdoor games, for sports lovers of all types. This includes cards, darts and washer toss. Registration is $30 and includes all activities and a banquet meal. Liscombe Lodge is offering rooms at a reduced rate of $120, per night, plus tax, based on double occupancy.
On top of the games, participants can hike, kayake, canoe and much more while staying at our beautiful Nova Scotia resort!
The event is held in Guysborough County but it is open to all older adults across Nova Scotia.

Our friends in Sherbrooke Village are getting ready to ride for a cause. Starting Friday, August 26 until Saturday, August 27, Sherbrooke will be hosting 'A Rally That Gives' in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
Only minutes from our Nova Scotia resort, we're the perfect spot to stay, so you can get an early start to the Poker Run on Saturday!
On Friday, August 26 there is a Courthouse Concert, free for those who registered early for the Rally.
All proceeds raised from 'The Rally That Gives' will go to the Cancer Society's "Lodge That Gives" in Halifax, NS, Cathy's Place Cancer Resource Room in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish, NS and Holy Redeemer Convent in Sydney, NS.
On top of the Poker Run, Sherbrooke Village will also be having field games, a show and shine and a BBQ!
So book your room at Liscombe Lodge and shine up the Harley, she's going to get a work out in August.
