Is the resort open seasonally?
Yes. Liscombe Lodge Resort and Conference Centre is open seasonally, and typically welcomes guests each year at the beginning in May and closes in October.

What amenities are available for accommodations?
We aim to provide a home away from home for our guests. We offer a number of guestroom options, each featuring comfortable beds, fresh linens, free WiFi, flat screen televisions, and coffee machines in our rooms. With rustic decor, access to property amenities, and stunning views, we are certain you will be impressed and comfortable.

What are the dining options on property?
Our riverside resort offers a variety of dining options. Our Lone Cloud Lounge offers traditional Maritime pub-fare, while our stunning Riverside Dining Room highlights locally sourced, mouthwatering seafood entrées. Our Chefs and culinary team will introduce you to the unique and wonderful flavors of our local region. We also offer in-room dining, specialty event catering and packaged picnic options for the eager traveler looking to explore the Liscomb River and surrounding nature trails.

Do you have on-site parking?
Yes. Our beautiful Nova Scotia resort offers ample free parking for guests.

Is the resort pet friendly?
Yes. We are most definitely pet friendly! We have select pet-friendly accommodations as we consider pets our guests too. Do you have smoking rooms?
At Liscombe Lodge Resort and Conference Centre we do not permit smoking in any of our guestrooms, function rooms, restaurants or common areas in any of our buildings. Our facility has several dedicated outdoor locations for smoking; however, smoking in our buildings may hold penalty fees for guests.

Do you provide cribs, cots or rollaway beds?
Our guests’ comfort is our utmost priority, and therefore we offer cribs and cots, subject to availability. Please request these items at the time of booking to ensure they are available during your stay with us. * Cots are subject to a fee

Do you have special rates for AAA or CAA?
Absolutely! Working with organizations like AAA is very important to us and we certainly participate in both AAA and CAA programs. CAA/AAA rates are not available for group bookings.

What is the minimum age to rent a room?
Ensuring both safety and enjoyment for all of our guests is very important to us. At Liscombe Lodge Resort and Conference Centre we require an adult of at least 19 years of age to book a room; however, some exceptions may be considered by management. Please contact us for details.

What time is check-in and checkout?
Check-in is 3pm and checkout is 11am; however, we offer early check-in and late checkout times for a nominal fee.

Do you allow late checkouts?
Yes. Late checkout is available, based on availability. We apply a nominal fee to guarantee your late checkout time.

What is your cancellation policy?
We have a cancellation policy of 72 hours prior to arrival. A first night’s fee will be collected if a cancellation occurs in less than 72 hours prior to arrival.

What method of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and debit. Please be aware that there’s no ATM on property.

Do you have internet access?
We offer complimentary WiFi access in most areas of the property! 

Do you have flat screen TVs?
Yes. Each of our rooms features a 37″ flat screen television.

Do you have accessible rooms for wheelchairs?
Yes. We have a variety of accommodations that meet the needs of guests with limited mobility or disabilities.

Do you have on-site laundry facilities?
We offer coin operated washer and dryers to all guests. 

What hours are the pool, saunas and fitness room open?
Our indoor pool, two hot tubs, a sauna and fitness room open daily;  Facility hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

What facilities are included in my room rate?
WiFi, parking, indoor/outdoor recreational activities. Please speak with our reservations team for specific offerings for our cottages, chalets and Riverside Lodge.

Does your resort offer special rates for group meals?
Our team will customize our offerings to your specific needs. We have many culinary professionals working alongside our services team to deliver an experience for your event that exceeds your expectations and meets event budget. We want all guests to enjoy themselves, so please let us know about dietary needs! 

Do you accommodate food allergies?
The products we incorporate into our menus are locally sourced where possible. Our chefs and culinary team understand that with dietary restrictions, lifestyle choices, and allergies, adaptations or substitutions may be needed. Please express your preferences to any of our hospitality staff or culinary team to ensure we accommodate your needs and expectations. Please communicate severe airborne allergies to our reservations team while booking your stay. 

Do you offer on-site programs for children?
Our resort offers a wide variety of activities for your kids to take advantage of. From our giant chess board to bikes, kayaks and tennis court, one day at Liscombe Lodge Resort and Conference Centre is never enough to explore the multitude of wonderful adventures this location has to offer.

What should I pack?
Coastal traveling is always a challenge in terms of packing for the season, as at times the weather can be cool, even in summer. So, if you plan to enjoy the spectacular Liscomb River outdoors, and we recommend you do, wear layers and sturdy footwear. We also recommend bug spray!
