Did you know that all rates at our Nova Scotia resort include complimentary canoes, kayaks, bikes, hiking, indoor pool, sauna, whirlpools, recreation center, Wadd’s reading loft, outdoor board games, tennis court, and bonfire pits?
That’s a whole lot of memories to be made at Liscombe Lodge.
We wanted to share with you our top three memory making tips for your summer retreat.
1. Take a relaxing one hour boat ride, along the Liscombe River with our captain, Chester! Having worked with Liscombe Lodge for over 40 years, he will recall stories and history from the Eastern Shore! This tour happens Wednesday through Sunday for $12 per person.
2. Explore the Eastern Shore with Liscombe Lodge. We offer over 15km in Nova Scotia hiking trails, including a swinging bridge and man made salmon ladder. Pack a snack and hit the trails. We have three trails on location – the Liscomb River Trail (9.6 km), the May Flower Trail (2.9 km), and the Woodpecker and Bird Watching Trail (400 m). Make sure you wear shoes you don’t mind getting messy and keep your eyes peeled for wild life along the trail.
3. Grab a pack of s’mores, light a bonfire and enjoy a quiet evening in nature. Our bonfire pits light up the sumer nights. It’s a great opportunity to unplug and spend quality time with the ones you love.
Liscombe Lodge is all about family time. From hiking to habour tours, not only do we make it easy to make memories, we encourage it! See you by the river.
