Old Fashioned Christmas Update

Another Old Fashioned Christmas celebration has come and gone!

The weather for our first Old Fashioned Christmas weekend this year was perfect and the entire weekend went off without a hitch!

Our guests on the second weekend had a much more authentic Old Fashioned Christmas feeling. The high winds and icy weather caused a short power outage at Liscombe Lodge! But the fires were burning in the Riverside Dining Room and Wadd’s Lounge and the glow from the Christmas tree kept everyone in the holiday spirit.

The Old Fashioned Christmas activities in Sherbrooke Village kept everyone entertained during the day and into the early evening. And after a long day of Christmas activities, our guests had the opportunity to  unwind with games and chats by the fire in Wadd’s Lounge or around the bonfire outside. Some guests chose to keep the excitement going with entertainment by Paul Tupper in the Lone Cloud Lounge on Friday night and with DJ Nova SOUNDS closing out the final night of celebrations.

And of course, Chef Rob did not disappoint with amazing Christmas buffets each night and a festive breakfast buffet to start each morning.

We will soon be getting ready for next year’s festive celebration once the dates are announced by Sherbrooke Village!

In the meantime keep your eyes open for all upcoming events in 2020!
